Traveling Construction Superintendent

Position: TRAVELING CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT
CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT - Up to $120K + Housing + Per Diem  Our client, an established family-owned construction and development company, is hiring experienced Construction Superintendents
~ Must be willing to travel regularly to projects throughout the country
~ Nice  one bedroom corporate housing  in project city as opposed to motels or low quality hotels.
~ 75 daily per diem
~$550 monthly vehicle allowance  when using a personal vehicle
~ Gas reimbursement  while working in the project city
~ GSA mileage reimbursement  when driving between the employee’s home city and project location
~ Opportunity for project-based bonuses for exceptional performance
~ Superintendents remain  paid between project assignments

Oversee assigned construction projects from mobilization through successful completion
Direct and supervise subcontractors, consultants, and vendors on a daily basis
Coordinate manpower, inspections, schedules, materials, and site activities
Maintain responsibility for jobsite safety, quality control, and project scheduling
Confirm that subcontractors comply with their contracted scopes of work
Review project drawings, RFIs, material submittals, and shop drawings
Identify conflicts between project plans and actual field conditions
Coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions and ensure sites are inspection-ready
Enforce safety requirements, building codes, permits, and quality standards
Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings
Communicate project progress and field issues to project managers, clients, architects, and consultants
Maintain a clean, organized, and professionally managed jobsite
Minimum of three years of verifiable experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent
Demonstrated ability to manage commercial projects from start to finish with minimal supervision
Strong knowledge of construction trades, sequencing, quality control, and jobsite safety
Proficiency with Procore and construction scheduling software;
Familiarity with Plan Grid, Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook
Must be able to provide a detailed five-year project list
