Legal Practices Instructor

The purpose of the Legal Practices Instructor is to supervise and instruct students in career training development related to legal practices. This includes creating a structured, safe, and disciplined learning environment while delivering hands-on instruction. Additionally, the instructor will perform other job-related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE:

Three (3) years of work experience in an education-related field, with at least one (1) year within the last five (5) years, or two (2) years within the last ten (10) years.

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college/university is desired. CREDENTIALS/CERTIFICATES/LICENSES:
Possession of, or ability to obtain prior to employment, a valid California Designated Subjects Career Technical Education Teaching or Vocational Credential for the subject to be taught is required. (Refer to the Commission on Teacher Credentialing website at  for Designated Subjects Career Technical Education Teaching Credentials). (You must apply for annual waiver while completing University credentialing program of study until CTEL certification or EL equivalent is obtained through clear credential.)
