- Deliver clinical instruction according to an approved course syllabus using accepted and effective teaching methods
- Develop daily lesson plans
- Advise and tutor students
- Maintain current and accurate attendance and grade records
- Remain current in the applicable program teaching field
- Participate in faculty meetings, instructional seminars, and in-service training sessions
- Serve as an educator, role model, mentor, and facilitator
- Facilitate student learning associated with prescribed course and program learning outcomes
- Participate substantively in assessment of student learning activities to maximize students' ability to meet prescribed outcomes
- Minimum of five (5) years (or equivalent), full-time, post licensure experience, including a minimum of three (3) years (or equivalent) of full-time clinical experience
- Anatomy and Outpatient experience preferred
- Hold a minimum of a master's degree with the appropriate coursework in the subject area required from an institution accredited by a regional accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (USDE)
- Current Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license to practice in California
- Current CPR Card
Demonstrates expertise in clinical instruction and student assessment, with a strong focus on facilitating learning outcomes and maintaining accurate records. Holds a valid Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant license and a master's degree in a relevant field.
