This company is a leading environmental consulting and engineering company with over 40 years of expertise and a strong presence across Canada and the US. With more than 200 staff and a reputation for sustainable design and technical excellence, they're now looking to add a Process Engineer to their Ottawa team.
In this hybrid position, you'll play a key role in designing treatment systems, specifying equipment, running design programs, and supporting both proposals and field operations. You'll manage multi-discipline projects, develop engineering packages, and liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure efficient, cost-effective solutions.
The Role:
- Water & wastewater treatment design for industrial clients
- Prepare equipment specifications, P&IDs, and technical reports
- Hybrid role based in Ottawa
The Person:
- Degree in Process or Chemical Engineering
- P.Eng in Ontario (or eligible)
- 5-10 years in water/wastewater treatment; mining experience a strong asset
- Proficient in CAD, fluid mechanics, and environmental chemistry
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally and visit industrial sites
