Job Summary
We are looking for an Assistant Resident Engineer to work on various Roadway Transportation construction projects located in Riverside County. This position will be on-site and involves inspecting construction procedures and verifying that work completed by contractors is in accordance with contract documents for roadway and bridge projects.
Responsibilities- Complete daily inspection reports.
- Perform inspection of foundation construction (pile driving/drilling).
- Complete bridge superstructure calculations utilizing four-scales.
- Perform inspection of falsework placement and removal.
- Assist in the documentation of pay quantities and development of the Final Estimate.
- Assure general compliance with standards and specifications.
- Assure documentation, and accuracy of monthly progress payments.
- Accurately track change order work.
- Log and track material inspection, certification, and acceptance for the project.
- Other duties as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar.
- 5+ years of relevant experience with the concepts and practices within the highway and bridge construction field.
- Must have the ability to assist in the resolution of project issues effectively and efficiently.

T.Y. Lin International is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $88,800 - $133,200 annually for this position and local market. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of skills, experience, education and competencies to the table that will be reflected in our offer.
