We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our team. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be accountable for supporting customer order management, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency through effective transaction processing, EDI management, and issue resolution. This role serves as a key liaison between customers and cross-functional teams while driving customer satisfaction and continuous process improvement.
Compensation- Hourly: $22-$25
- Manage customer service activities to resolve order, delivery, product, and service-related inquiries.
- Validate and maintain EDI transactions to ensure accurate and timely processing of customer and inventory data.
- Analyze inventory, order, and shipment discrepancies to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Process delivery transactions and purchase orders to support operational and inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with Operations, Transportation, Planning, Quality Assurance, and Sales teams to resolve customer and operational issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and product incident records to support compliance and quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and special projects that enhance service, efficiency, and productivity.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, order management, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing support, or a related business environment.
- Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional email etiquette.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and customer service excellence.
