Construction Loan Processor
The Construction Loan Processor is responsible for administering construction loan disbursements, ensuring all draw requests are processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with Bank policies, loan agreements, and regulatory requirements. This role coordinates with borrowers, contractors, inspectors, title companies, and internal partners to facilitate the review and funding of construction draws.
The position ensures that all required documentation is complete and compliant, identifies and resolves discrepancies, and supports the overall integrity of the construction lending process through diligent file maintenance and adherence to established controls.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Administers and tracks all construction loan disbursement requests in accordance with Bank policies and established procedures.
- Processes and manages draw requests utilizing the Built fund control system, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
- Reviews draw packages to verify receipt and completeness of required documentation, including invoices, lien releases, and W-9 forms.
- Coordinates property inspections with approved third-party vendors and ensure timely completion of inspection reports.
- Communicates with borrowers and contractors to obtain missing or incomplete documentation necessary to process draw requests.
- Evaluates draw requests and supporting inspection reports to identify discrepancies, deficiencies, or potential risks.
- Prepares disbursement documentation, including cashier's checks, and process funding upon approval from the appropriate lending authority.
- Liaises with title companies to obtain and review required documentation, such as Notices of Completion, updated title policies, and recorded mechanic's lien releases.
- Maintains accurate and organized loan files in compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Provides backup support for administrative functions, as needed.
- Complies with, and stays abreast of, all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job.
- Provide, present, and promote the Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers.

Education and/or ExperienceBachelor's degree (B.
A.) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small‑group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer & Software SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, CLCS and/or Built (fund control software for disbursements).
