Job Overview
Client Relationship Consultants at U.S. Bank build relationships with customers, engaging them via multiple channels including in-person, by appointment, and virtually to provide the best possible counsel while adopting a digital first mindset.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong client relationships based on trust and understanding of customers' banking needs.
- Obtain and process customer and account information, and educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services.
- Recommend solutions that align with each customer’s unique goals and financial needs.
- Proactively reach out to clients and follow up, asking questions and learning about their financial needs and banking channel preferences.
- Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications.
- Leverage digital products and self‑service technologies to optimize the client experience and ensure operational excellence and accuracy.
- Collaborate with branch team members and partners to best serve clients.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Typically a minimum of three to four years of job‑related retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z.
- Background and credit check compliance with NMLS registration requirements.
- Proven ability to build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach and follow‑up.
- Effective communication and engagement with clients.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with digital products and self‑service technologies.
- Ability to identify and explore customer needs while leveraging a digital first mindset.
- Basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations to meet customer needs both reactively and proactively.
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location for all scheduled workdays.
CompensationPay Range: $21.68 - 26.50 per hour (actual range may differ based on location).
