- Associates degree and four (4) years of direct service experience in a Mental Health field OR
- Bachelor’s degree in social science required, plus two (2) years of experience working in a behavioral health field
- Valid California Driver's License
- Meets Agency driver eligibility criteria
This position has primary responsibility for providing case management to clients referred to the program. The Case Manager acts as a point person for facilitation of client needs and partners with Peer Support, Mentors and Family Advocate.
Division/Program OverviewValley Star Community Services One Stop TAY Center provides counseling and an array of supportive mental health, substance abuse, employment and educational services.
Services are provided in the office, home or in community locations.
Amenities like showers, laundry, phone and internet services available on site.
Center helps young adults ages 16-25 focus on their goals through a variety of services:
- Individual and family counseling
- Group Counseling
- Psychiatric care
- Medication management
- Crisis intervention services
- Intense case management
- Housing and vocational support
- Independent living skills training

In accordance with California law, the grade for this position is 26.16 - 41.85. Placement within the grade is determined based on experience, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
