Human Resources Coordinator - Compumeric

Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and supported by Group HR. This position will split responsibility between two small facilities located in and near Ontario, California. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and worker's comp administration.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Administer various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel.

Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Conduct recruitment efforts for all levels of staff; write and place job advertisements, screen applicants, coordinate interviews, and extend job offers.

Facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation.

Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.

Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Administer worker's comp processes.

Assist in benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.

Support performance management processes including evaluations and goal setting.

Maintain HRIS records and compile reports from the database as needed.

Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.

Other duties may be assigned by Group HR Directors or GMs.

Education and/or Experience

• 2-4 years of HR experience preferred.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
• Knowledge of HR laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Experience with UKG Pro/WFM a plus!

Computer Sills

• Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Access

• Evidence of the practice of high level of confidentiality
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English - required.
