Toyota’s Operations Support team is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role involves maintaining and developing data reporting tools, queries, tables to support operations, with quality, cost and other facility priorities.
Reporting to the Operations support Manger, the person in this role will support the Operational support team with the objective to assist, supporting the Operations and Japan supply team as needed.
What you’ll be doingData Gathering and validation
Extracting data from various sources (databases, spreadsheets, APIs), identifying and handling missing or inconsistent data, performing data cleansing and normalization to ensure accuracy.
Data TransformationOrganizing raw data into a usable format for analysis, including data processing and formatting.
Basic AnalysisPerforming statistical analysis using tools like Excel, Structures query language (SQL), P360 platform and basic programming languages to identify trends and patterns.
Data VisualizationCreating clear and concise data visualizations (charts, graphs, dashboards) to effectively communicate insights to operations.
ReportingGenerating clear and concise reports summarizing key findings and actionable insights based on data analysis.
CollaborationWorking with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide relevant data analysis support.
Learning and Development:Continuously developing skills in data analysis techniques, new tools, and industry best practices.
What you bringAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, and data analysis techniques.
Strong SQL capabilities with experience extracting, transforming, and analyzing large, complex datasets.
Experience developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar business intelligence platforms.
Proven ability to perform data cleansing, validation, and quality assurance activities to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
Experience automating reporting processes and optimizing data workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Strong understanding of statistical analysis, KPI development, performance measurement, and trend analysis.
Demonstrated ability to identify patterns, risks, opportunities, and actionable insights from complex datasets.
Working knowledge of Toyota warehouse management systems, AS400, and related supply chain applications.
Candidates may be required to complete a practical skills assessment as part of the selection process.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present data-driven insights and recommendations.
