- Receiving, storing, moving, and distributing materials.
- Reading production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Conveying materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
- Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence (size, type, style, color, or product code).
- Assembling customer orders from stock and placing them on pallets or shelves, or conveying orders to the packing station or shipping department.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 to 3 months of related experience.
- Ability to perform operations using American currency, weight, volume, and distance units.
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out simple one‑ or two‑step instructions.
- Ability to complete duties with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
- Ability to use hands, sit, reach, stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch, talk or hear.
- Regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to be exposed to non‑climate‑controlled environments.
