Manager, Logistics and warehouse management

Our client is a logistics and supply chain group that provides multinational logistics and warehouse operations management service. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a Logistics Manager and the position is based in Ontario California.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee daily logistics operations including warehouse management, inland transportation, cross-border deliveries, container loading/unloading, and last-mile distribution in Los Angeles and surrounding areas
• Develop and implement logistics scheduling and routing plans, optimize trucking routes and transportation capacity, and manage overall transportation and warehousing costs.
• Manage third-party logistics vendors such as contracted trucking companies, warehousing providers, and customs brokers etc;
  Conduct supplier performance evaluations and monitor service levels.
• Monitor cargo movement across the entire logistics process, ensure smooth operational process and timely delivery
• Implement and enhance logistics SOPs, inventory management procedures, and inbound/outbound inspection standards;
  Ensure good quality of service
• Manage logistics cost and budgets, improve operational efficiency and enhance overall logistics performance.

Key requirements:

• At least 6 years of logistics management, warehouse management experience
• Familiarize with the United States customs and Port of Los Angeles logistics operations
• Good analytical and management skills
• Motivated, organized, multi-tasking
• Good communication and coordination skills
