Shipping Coordinator - Ontario CA

Overview

WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity to join our team in Ontario CA. This position is responsible for all product shipping to customers and internal transfers.

• Process’s small part & LTL shipments, processing in timely and accurate manner
• Understand the logistics process and procedure
• Monitors age and status of open freight shipments and follow-up on issues as needed
• Files and processes paperwork in accordance with the established procedures
• Schedules trucks through systems such as SAP and TMS
• Keeps accurate records on outgoing shipments
• Works closely with other departments to ensure timely shipments of all products and accurate tracking in operation system
• Prepares shipments including taking pictures, writing Bill of Lading/s (BOL) and other required documentation
• Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs

• High School or GED preferred.

• Excellent organization and administrative skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts.
• Detail oriented and the ability to multitask.
• Knowledge of warehouse operation systems such as SAP or similar.
• Knowledge of LTL and dedicated services.

• 1-3 years shipping experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
