About the Role

We are seeking a Regional Sr. EHSS Manager (West) to join our team at our Ontario, CA location. In this role, you will lead Environmental, Health, Safety & Security (EHSS) compliance and culture-building initiatives across our U.S. and Canadian bakeries-driving reduced risk, strengthened safety performance, and adherence to all regulatory requirements. This role requires you to be onsite in Ontario, CA four days per week to collaborate closely with bakery leadership and stay connected to daily operations.

Compensation

Salary Range: $110,000-$150,000

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

• Champion a strong, proactive safety culture rooted in a zero-accident mindset
• Partner with Bakery Leadership to achieve EHSS compliance, cultural improvements, and organizational goals
• Develop, integrate, and manage company-wide environmental, health, safety, and security programs
• Lead EHSS audits, hazard identification, and corrective action planning to minimize workplace risks
• Oversee environmental compliance programs, including PSM, SWPPP, air, water, and waste management
• Guide and develop EHSS personnel and support accident/near-miss investigations and follow-up
• Track, analyze, and report safety performance metrics to drive continuous improvement

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• Bachelor's degree in safety or related field, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of comprehensive EHSS experience in a manufacturing environment (food industry preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. and Canadian EHSS regulations
• Experience leading EHSS programs across multiple facilities
• Ability to travel 25% across U.S. and Canada
• Ability to work near moving mechanical equipment, in varying weather conditions, and around airborne particles
• Ability to perform duties in environments with potential exposure to cold, humidity, traffic hazards, and equipment-related risks

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• Master's degree in occupational safety or related field
• Professional certifications such as ASP, CSP, or Canadian equivalents
• Prior experience working with air district agencies (e.g., SCAQMD, SJCAPCD), SWRCB, DTSC, CUPA, CARB
• Experience in bakery or broader food manufacturing environments
• Background implementing behavior-based safety programs
