Machinist-Conventional Grinder

Pridestaff is currently seeking a Machinist-Conventional Grinder A MUST for a manufacturing company located in Ontario, CA. This is a long-term position with potential for hire. Please see job requirements below to be considered.

Pay: $25.00 to $30 DOE

Shift: 6am - 2:30pm, Monday – Friday

Seeking a Machinist – Conventional or a grinder experience is a must

• Previous experience operating OD grinders, surface grinders, milling machines, turning machines and lathes
• Experience using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, indicators)
• Prior significant experience in metal working, tool and die making
• Proficient knowledge of machine tools and their functions
• Ability to read prints, detail engineering drawings, and design schematics
• Exceptional manual dexterity and attention to

Job Requirement/

Qualifications:

• At least 6 months of production or manufacturing experience or similar industry highly preferred.
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to use a tape measure
• Ability to use precision measurement tools highly preferred
• Must be willing to submit to an oral drug test (excluding marijuana) and criminal background check prior to start.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $25.00 - $30.00 Per Hour
