Georgia-Pacific is looking to place a motivated Material Forklift Operator to join our team at Georgia Pacific in Ontario, CA! Georgia-Pacific is one of the nation's leading corrugated box manufacturers. We manufacture standard corrugated containers, as well as many specialty packaging products for various industries. • Adhere to company safety policies and encourage other associates to do so as well
• Safely driving and operating a forklift and/or other machinery to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting products and materials.
• Utilize a Radio Frequency (RF) scanner.
• Work cooperatively and productively with the team to complete assigned tasks
• Properly and accurately completing all required shipping documentation both manually and with the use of a computer software system.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Obtain and maintain company forklift certification.
• Understand basic computer skills
• Work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy environment
• Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
• Work any shift, holidays, weekends and overtime as needed

• One (1) year of experience driving and operating a forklift within an industrial or warehousing environment

• For this role, we anticipate paying $22.50 per hour.

• Shift Hours (Monday
  - Friday) 7:00AM to 3:30PM 1st shift
• Shift Hours (Monday
  - Friday) 10:30AM to 7:00PM 2nd shift
• Overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed
