Janitor- Skilled Nursing Facility

We are looking for a full-time Janitor for our AM 6am-2pm rotating shift.

The anticipated pay rate for candidates in California is $18.00 to $18.50 per hour. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc.

• Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas.
• Promotes/protects resident rights.
• Complies with abuse prevention & reporting policies and procedures.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
• Works efficiently to complete assignments and meet deadlines.
• Follows instructions carefully and discusses deviation from procedures with supervisor before acting.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident care and employee issues.
• Uses chain of command to communicate problems or grievances.
• Participates in staff meetings and mandatory in‑service as required.
• Reports all accidents/incidents to your supervisor, no matter how minor that may be.

  Such occurrences must be reported on the shift in which they occur.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
• Previous experience in skilled nursing a plus, but not required.
• Caring team player and customer service focused personality.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized through daily duties.
