Position: Telemetry Nurse (RN) in Ontario, CA
Contribute your expertise as a Registered Nurse in a dynamic Telemetry Unit, delivering patient-centered care and supporting complex clinical needs. This contract position prioritizes compassionate, evidence-based practice while fostering professional growth.

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time contract position (specific scheduling to be discussed during interview)

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Ventilator management experience preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination and boosters preferred

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Proficient in telemetry nursing and cardiac monitoring
• Capable of rapid response to changes in patient condition
• Strong clinical assessment, planning, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Effective in directing and supporting patient/family education
• Experience supporting and coaching other nursing staff within the unit

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, high-quality direct patient care using nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry results
• Evaluate, document, and communicate clinical changes to the healthcare team, including physicians
• Implement appropriate interventions based on diagnostic studies and patient observations
• Advocate for patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes
• Guide patient and family education, offering support and clear communication
• Adhere to established standards of care and protocols in the Telemetry Unit
