About This Role

The Specialty Unit Staff RN in Labor & Delivery provides professional nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures. This role is ideal for nurses who are flexible, demonstrate quality and effectiveness in their work habits, and treat all members of the healthcare team with dignity and respect.

• Pay: $70 - $96/hour

• Schedule: Full Time

• Uphold Kaiser Permanente's Policies and Procedures and applicable laws.
• Serve as a leader of the healthcare team; delegate tasks appropriately.
• Understand own and team members' scope of practice and elevate issues as appropriate.
• Develop and/or contribute to the individualized plan of care.
• Monitor patient progress based on the care plan.
• Revise care plans based on patient condition and evaluation of progress.
• Ensure effective development and completion of discharge plans.
• Ensure patient safety related to medications and procedures.
• Discuss patient findings and progress with physicians and healthcare team members.
• Practice customer service standards as defined by the Service Area and Medical Center.
