Assistant Store Manager - Visual Ontario - Pottery Barn Outlet

About the Role

A Visual Merchandising team member contributes to the marketing and sales efforts by designing, developing, and taking charge of the visual look of the store and catalog.

You will execute merchandising strategies by creating and maintaining visual displays in the store windows and on the sales floor, and participate in set‑ups to influence the store’s future look.

• Manage the development of the store product presentation floor plans.
• Assist in visual packet illustrations and production.
• Manage weekly presentation updates and emails to the field.
• Manage in‑store set‑up and production of memo and/or photo booklet for all drawbridge and header presentations.
• Manage the production of product lists for perimeter bays and coordinate merchandise lists with the Planning Department.
• Assist in conceptual meetings and implementation of window presentation.
• Assist in merchandising special events, Manager's Conference and Product Development conceptual meeting room.
• Assist in mock store presentation for Store, Catalog and Product Development set‑ups.

• Previous project management experience in a deadline‑driven environment.
• 2–4 years experience in visual merchandising with multi‑store responsibility.
• Ability to work with tools (drills, hammers, etc.).
• Ability to move furniture for set‑ups.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently.
• Proficient on a Mac.
• Proficient in Photoshop and InDesign.

• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to type on a keyboard and operate a PC.
• Ability to converse over a telephone.
• Ability to work in office and perform in a corporate environment.

This role offers a competitive compensation package including pay and benefits. Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location, etc. The anticipated pay range for this role will be: $25.00–$29.00 per hour.
