What You’ll Do
As an Account Manager, you’ll serve as the primary liaison between customers and carriers — ensuring shipments move smoothly while driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and growing assigned customer accounts
- Dispatching, tracking, and tracing shipments
- Soliciting and securing carriers to cover customer loads
- Building long-term, trusted relationships with clients
- Identifying new revenue opportunities and collaborating with sales teams
- Prospecting and onboarding new customers
- Supporting A/R functions to ensure timely payments
- Meeting monthly and quarterly load and profit targets
- Conducting customer visits and annual business reviews
- Utilizing transportation software systems (including McLeod) effectively
You’ll play a critical role in helping the branch achieve revenue and service targets while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ 2+ years of Sales & Customer Service experience (preferred)
✔ 1+ year of McLeod Software experience (required)
✔ Strong understanding of transportation operations
✔ Excellent communication and negotiation skills
✔ Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment
✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
✔ Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
