Overview
We are seeking a motivated B2B Wholesale Sales Manager to join our team in Southern California. This hybrid role, based in Montclair, Corona, or Santa Ana, focuses on expanding our raw ingredients business. You will sell functional ingredients, vitamins, botanical extracts, superfood powders, amino acids, and other nutritional ingredients to manufacturers and brands across the U.S. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will own the full sales cycle and drive growth through proactive account management.

Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end B2B sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, quoting, negotiation, closing, and account growth.
- Target and develop relationships with supplement brands, food & beverage manufacturers, contract manufacturers (OEM/ODM), and other bulk buyers.
- Manage the ingredients workflow, including RFQs, samples, specifications, COAs, MOQs, lead times, pricing/terms, and payment terms.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast; provide weekly updates and ensure CRM hygiene.
- Partner with Operations, Logistics, and QA teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and high customer satisfaction.
- Drive repeat purchases and multi-SKU adoption through strategic account management.
- Travel locally in California (~10%) and out-of-state (~20–30%) as required.
Requirements (Must-have)
- 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in raw ingredients/ingredients.
- Proven track record of achieving $2M+ in annual sales revenue (or comparable quota attainment) in ingredients/raw materials.
- Strong sales fundamentals: prospecting, discovery, negotiation, and closing.
- Highly organized and metrics-driven, with excellent follow-up and pipeline management skills (CRM + Excel/Sheets).
- Success-driven, communicative, team-oriented, and skilled in sales.
- Build a qualified sales pipeline and close initial purchase order(s) or secure repeatable opportunities with a clear forecast within the first 90 days.
Salary and Benefits
- Compensation:
Base salary of $70,000–$100,000 (depending on experience) plus 1.5% commission per policy. - Health Insurance:
