Security Officer Screening Driving Role

Pay Rate: $21.89 / Hour

Schedule:

Friday‑Sunday 06:00 AM – 02:30 PM

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out screening procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, belongings, and authorized items entering designated areas, document screening‑related activity, and report unusual findings in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to access points, shipping and receiving areas, and other sensitive locations as directed by site procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited activity by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and maintaining awareness of security‑related conditions throughout the location.

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
