Part-Time, On-Call Cargo Screeners

Covenant Aviation Security (CAS) is seeking part-time, on-call cargo screeners to support overnight UPS cargo screening operations at Ontario International Airport (ONT). This position serves as a relief team member, providing coverage when full-time cargo screeners are unavailable due to vacation, illness, training, or other operational needs.

This is an on-call position and is not a regularly scheduled part-time role. Team members are placed on an on-call roster and are contacted as operational needs arise. Employees are guaranteed a minimum of 1.5 paid hours per month to attend required training and maintain TSA certification. Because this position requires responding to operational needs on short notice, candidates should reside within approximately 30 minutes of Ontario International Airport (ONT) and be able to report to work promptly when contacted.

This role is ideal for individuals seeking supplemental employment who have the flexibility to work overnight hours on an as-needed basis.

Hours of Operation:
Overnight operations are conducted Monday through Friday between 9:00 PM and 2:30 AM. Scheduled work hours will vary based on operational needs.

Covenant Aviation Security offers a competitive compensation package, with a starting hourly rate of $27.00 per hour. In addition, employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package designed to support their health, well-being, and financial security, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions; paid time off; company-paid life insurance; voluntary supplemental life insurance; employee assistance program;

flexible spending accounts; company-furnished uniforms; and paid training and professional development opportunities. Benefits are subject to eligibility requirements and plan provisions and may be modified at the company's discretion.
