Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location;
Control access to the facility by verifying identification, monitoring entry and exit activity, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining access-related records;
Monitor truck, trailer, and delivery activity at designated entry points; communicate with drivers and site personnel regarding check-in procedures and authorized access;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel;
Conduct regular and random patrols of facility access points, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity
