The Commercial Installer supports commercial, and public works projects-performing physical labor, operating a variety of hand and power tools, and assisting with the installation of foundation support systems. In this role, you will:
Technical & Field Responsibilities
- Learn and apply advanced beginner skills in installing push piers, helical piers, and polymer injection systems
- Perform ram setup, pier advancement, and hydraulic control operations
- Troubleshoot installation issues and follow all advanced safety procedures
- Maintain equipment, and all job-site tools
- Prepare work sites, dig trenches, erect piers, and clean debris
- Assist skilled craft workers and contribute to project efficiency
- Travel up to 90% - primarily in the state of California
- Conduct daily visual inspections and basic maintenance on company vehicles
- Use all equipment safely while following company and OSHA standards
- Present a professional appearance and deliver exceptional customer service
- Work cohesively with your crew to complete jobs efficiently and safely
- Reliable, dependable, and committed to showing up with a positive attitude
- Ability to identify helical equipment and understand troubleshooting basics
- Strong coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to recognize problems early and adjust actions as needed
- Comfortable using math to solve field-related challenges
- Excellent listening skills and the ability to work seamlessly within a team
- Physical flexibility and strength to bend, lift, stretch, and move throughout the day
- OSHA 10 required, we will provide the training and certification as needed
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required Strong communication skills, ability to motivate, and be a team player
- Experience leading and motivating crew members
- Previous experience working in the construction or home services industry and/or trade work or general labor required, experience installing polymer leveling solutions and/or pier systems preferred
- Basic construction or mechanical knowledge
- Must have a valid, non-restrictive driver's license
- Enters crawl spaces and other confined areas
