UPS is seeking an experienced Conveyor Belt Splicer at our Ontario hub in the Inland Empire. You will perform hot vulcanized and cold splices on a wide variety of conveyor belts, repair belt damage, install new belts during facility upgrades, and maintain belt splicing equipment. This is a specialized trade position with premium pay.
Requirements- 3+ years of vulcanized belt splicing experience
- Expertise in hot splice, cold splice, and mechanical fastener methods
- Knowledge of belt types (PVC, rubber, modular plastic)
- Ability to work on emergency belt repairs during night shutdown windows
- Own vulcanizing press and splicing tools preferred
