- Perform planned and unplanned repairs, and preventative maintenance to production-related equipment, Powered Industrial Trucks, and building equipment
- Support and perform planned and unplanned repairs and preventative maintenance to maintain operation of conveyors and sorter equipment
- Have a fundamental understanding of AC and DC systems and how to use a voltage meter
- Assist team leaders and contractors to perform installations of new or replacement equipment
- Perform and facilitate general facility repairs such as electrical, lighting, HVAC, & conveyor systems
- Input and maintain records using CMMS systems to ensure accuracy of time, parts, and repair data
- Read technical manuals and document changes
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Industrial mechanic trade school courses or certification (i.e., electrical, controls, plumbing, welding) or equivalent military technical training
- 1 year or more experience with mechanical and electrical systems
- 1 year or more experience with conveyor, automation and sortation system repair
- Read and comprehend technical manuals
- Familiarity with blueprints, and engineering specifications
- Prefer working knowledge of voltage meter and AC/DC
- Can repeatedly lift 50 pounds
Demonstrates expertise in performing repairs and preventative maintenance on production-related equipment, including conveyors and sortation systems, while maintaining accurate records using CMMS systems. Proficient in understanding AC and DC systems and utilizing voltage meters for effective troubleshooting.
