Human Resources​/Risk Management Technician

The Human Resources/Risk Management Agency currently has the following vacancies:
One (1) full-time vacancy within Risk Management
One (1) full-time vacancy within Benefits
One (1) part-time vacancy within Classification & Compensation

This recruitment will result in an eligibility list, which will be used to fill future full- and/or part-time vacancies within this classification for the duration of the eligibility list. Part-time employees may be scheduled to work up to 29 hours per week and are not eligible to participate in the City's health insurance or retirement plans. The City of Ontario Human Resources / Risk Management Agency is seeking self-driven, motivated and talented human resources professionals passionate about growing in a professional environment and playing an active role as contributors to the rapid growth and development of the City, while playing a key role in assisting the City to establish its goal in becoming the Premier Community of the Inland Empire.

• The Eligibility List will consist of both internal and external applicants who best meet the qualifications and successfully complete any required selection processes.
• The hiring department has the discretion to consider internal applicants on the Eligibility list prior to considering all applicants on the Eligibility list.
• The City of Ontario reserves the right, if necessary, to accept only the first one hundred (100) applications from applicants that meet the qualification guidelines below.
• Completed applications will be reviewed and only qualified applicants whose qualifications best meet or exceed the requirements of the position and needs of the City will be invited to participate further in the selection process.
• This recruitment will result in an eligibility list, which will be used to fill any current and future full-time and part-time vacancies within this classification. Part-time/Temporary positions are scheduled to work no more than 29 hours per week and are not eligible to participate in the City's health insurance or retirement plans.
