App Developer Intern

Orthoplex Solutions is seeking an App Developer Intern to join our growing development team. This internship is ideal for motivated individuals eager to gain hands‑on experience building modern web and mobile applications using Mongo

DB, Express, React, and Node.js, among others. You’ll work on real‑world projects for clients across North America and Europe. This two‑month unpaid internship is designed to provide valuable experience, mentorship, and a strong foundation in full‑stack application development.

• Work with the technical lead to develop new features and capabilities for existing mobile and web applications.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code to implement assigned features.
• Assist in product testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Support the development of scalable RESTful APIs and cloud‑based infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including design, QA, and product management.
• Maintain proper documentation and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

• Basic understanding of JavaScript, React
  
  JS (or React Native), and Node.js.
• Familiarity with Mongo
  
  DB, MySQL, or other databases.
• Fundamental knowledge of REST APIs and client‑server communication.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn modern frameworks, deployment workflows, and best practices in software engineering.

• No professional experience required — training and mentorship will be provided.
• Previous coursework, internships, or personal projects involving full‑stack or mobile app development are a plus.

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Required).
