Local CDL Class A Driver – $28.00 per Hour
Location:Ontario, California
About the PositionOur client is seeking a professional CDL Class A Driver to support local and regional dealership deliveries from Ontario, California. This position involves evening dispatch times, automotive parts deliveries, and heavy touch freight handling.
Pay & Schedule Details- Pay: $28.00 per hour
- Schedule: 40 hours per week
- Dispatch: Evening dispatch times
- Employment Type: Short-term flex
- Work Arrangement: On-site
- Route Type: Local and regional
- Freight: Automotive parts
- Equipment: Class A tractor-trailer
- Handling: Heavy touch freight, including loading and unloading as needed
- Deliver automotive parts to dealership locations.
- Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely and professionally.
- Complete dealership deliveries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Handle touch freight as required.
- Load, unload, and assist with product handling as needed.
- Follow all DOT and FMCSA safety standards.
- Complete required paperwork, logs, and delivery documentation.
- Maintain a professional appearance and customer-focused attitude at all delivery locations.
- Valid CDL Class A license.
- 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
- Ability to perform touch freight duties.
