The Receiving Specialist is responsible for ensuring an effective daily workflow within warehouse operations, including collecting documents from inbound deliveries for billing and vendor payments, minimal data entry, and other ad‑hoc supporting roles related to inbound operations. Additional duties include replenishment, inventory control, internal orders, and other warehouse‑related activities.
Compensation: $21.00 per hour
Core business hours: 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. (flexibility to work overtime when required)

Essential Duties- Report to Lead for daily assignment.
- Complete daily inspection “Check List” of Powered Industrial Lift truck to ensure it is safe to operate. Report any safety concerns to lead/supervisor immediately.
- Operate various Powered Industrial Trucks, including but not limited to cherry pickers and forklifts.
- Provide packing lists to Lead for all inbound deliveries by end of the shift to support billing and vendor payments.
- Support other areas of warehouse and inventory management, including receiving, inspection, returns processing, replenishment, put‑aways, picking, and inventory control.
- Load/unload shipments from carriers’ trailers/containers.
- Verify the accuracy of physical goods received against receiving documents such as bills of lading.
- Inspect goods to determine if the quality meets company standards and report damages to management for disposition.
- Pick job tickets for internal and customer orders accurately and safely and in a timely manner.
- Train associates on performing basic warehouse‑related activities.
- Perform warehouse operational activities in accordance with formalized policies and procedures.
- Participate in resolving warehouse‑related issues such as inventory discrepancies and damaged products.
- Provide feedback for process and procedure improvements.
- Maintain put‑away and replenishment documentation to ensure current and accurate record‑keeping.
- Maintain preventive maintenance and safety programs to ensure effective equipment utilization and adherence to safety measures.
- Maintain all warehouse equipment, including forklifts, R.F. guns, location racks, and computer workstations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Attendance and punctuality are essential job duties.

- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Warehouse and distribution environment.
- 6 months – 1 year of warehouse experience or related field.
- Working knowledge of warehouse and distribution operations, including inbound and inventory control.
- Experience with WMS and inventory control applications preferred (Oracle application experience preferred).
- Experience with Radio Frequency technology, including R.F. gun navigation and task management preferred.
- Ability to prioritize tasks to meet aggressive deadlines.
- Basic math and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and/or in a group setting.

- Occasional pulling/pushing up to 1500 lbs using a manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, or power industrial truck.
- Must be flexible to work overtime.
- Frequent bending.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to use RF unit.
