Job Description
Supervisor, DSD Warehouse is a front‑line leadership role responsible for the day‑to‑day tactical tasks of daily warehouse operations. The supervisor drives execution against all core Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and priorities in the four major pillars of Safety, Service, Savings and People.
Additional Responsibilities- Active on the branch warehouse floor – coaching associates, 5S, managing standard work processes for the Warehouse Pillar, optimizing service, and ensuring the labor structure aligns with the branch financial plan.
- Responsible for pallet/carts methods, training, developing, and providing direction for pick/pack/loading procedures.
- Responsible for executing and engaging in daily management system Level 1 meetings.
- Manage daily plans including warehouse tasks, inventory support, employee performance, and daily communication with internal partners and external customers/stakeholders.
- Drive key KPIs in the four pillars:
- (a)
Safety:- Promote a safety culture.
- Lead plans that reduce branch incident/accident rates, ensure quality inspections, hold DMS meetings, and develop hourly employees for safety/quality audits.
- KPIs: Safety incidents/accidents, OSHA rules and regulations.
- (b)
Service:- Ensure accuracy of all orders using Ring Scanner.
- Participate in cross‑functional meetings with Demand/Fulfillment Planning, Retail Teams, Customer Teams, and Headquarters support including leadership planning.
- KPIs: Warehouse performance management.
- (c)
Savings:- Complete payroll approvals (INFOR) for all direct reports promptly.
- Manage labor, assist with annual productivity plans, execute Lean Six Sigma and capital projects, and maintain the loss prevention network for waste and indirect labor.
- Identify supply chain opportunities and develop strategic plans with management.
- Participate in continuous improvement programs that reduce cost, lower carbon footprint, and improve service performance.
- KPIs: Overtime %, pallet/carts methods %, CPH, indirect hours, time between trucks, receiving plans, detention, MHE management/utilization.
- (d)
People:- Interview, onboard, and develop direct reports across all warehouse operations.
- Coach direct reports to execute development plans and support career goals.
- Engage local hourly employees (union/non‑union) through coaching, communication, and relationship building.
- Partner with the Inventory Specialist to evaluate processes for productivity improvements.

- Holding DMS meetings.
- Conducting successful branch and cross‑dock safety audits.
- KPIs: FMCSA rules and regulations compliance, ELD compliance.
- Completing payroll approvals (INFOR) for all direct reports promptly.
- KPIs: Delivery labor budget and financial acumen, delivery efficiencies, overtime %, driver methods %, driver performance and management.
- Secondary KPIs: Ring Scanner utilization.

Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Job Specific Requirements2–5 years of logistics experience is preferred.

Base salary range: $70,304 to $95,867, depending on experience, skills, education and location. Eligible for a competitive bonus program and performance‑based over achievement incentives.
