The ideal candidate is a dependable, detail-oriented team player who values the hands‑on, collaborative environment of a growing business, communicates well with others, and brings care, ownership, and a positive, solutions-focused approach to daily work.

You will be responsible for managing and executing EEC’s inventory program, including cycle counts, physical inventory, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and velocity slotting. This role supports accurate inventory management, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across inventory, finance, purchasing, operations, and customer service functions.

Key Functions and Duties
  • Manage and execute the inventory program, including cycle counts, physical inventory activities, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and velocity slotting.
  • Prepare, assign, and review all daily cycle counts to support inventory accuracy and operational accountability.
  • Prepare and provide leadership with regular reports and KPIs related to labour productivity and inventory management effectiveness.
  • Prepare, maintain, and continuously review Standard Operating Procedures to ensure processes remain accurate, effective, and aligned with business needs.
  • Ensure all inventory operations are carried out in accordance with SOPs and escrow non‑compliance as required.
  • Improve operational management systems, standard operating procedures, and best practices through cycle count observations and process review.
  • Review all part return request forms for accuracy on work orders and complete required inventory adjustments.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing on damaged inventory, including follow‑up for credit or inventory adjustments to write off affected items.
  • Review item record information to ensure fields are accurate, including account allocations, item descriptions, and tax codes.
  • Review inventory reports through Net Suite and RF‑SMART to identify variances, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Formulate strategic and tactical goals related to procuring, receiving, storing, shipping, and optimizing inventory.
  • Perform quality controls and monitor productivity through the cycle count program.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to increase the quality of internal and external customer service.
  • Support a shared vision across company functions for strategic and tactical initiatives, as well as corrective actions related to inventory management, finance, operations, customer service, and procurement.
  • Coach staffing as needed to support inventory processes, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Review and strategize aged inventory forecasts, assess financial impacts, and summarize findings for the Controller.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, cycle counting, physical inventory processes, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and inventory accuracy practices.
  • Working knowledge of ERP and inventory management systems; experience with Net Suite and RF‑SMART is an asset.
  • Strong quality orientation with the ability to monitor productivity, identify process gaps, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize daily cycle counts, reporting, and inventory-related tasks.
  • Creative and innovative thinking with the ability to improve operational systems, procedures, and best practices.
  • Strong problem‑solving, research, and analytical skills with the ability to review inventory data, identify root causes, and recommend effective corrective actions.
  • Demonstrated accountability, dependability, ethics, and integrity in handling inventory records, reporting, and operational follow-through.
  • Ability to support and enforce company procedures, rules, regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with leadership, purchasing, operations, finance, customer service, and other internal teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support a shared vision across departments.
  • High energy, resilience, and the ability to manage stress effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
