Our client, a leading logistics and transportation organization, is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate I, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting shipping, receiving, and freight handling activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Warehouse Associate I
Location: Ontario, CA
Pay Range: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
Shift: Monday through Friday and OT Saturday, 5am to 8pm (shift hours may vary depending on business needs)
What's the Job?
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
- Pulling routes, offloading/loading trailers, and scanning merchandise as needed
- Palletize freight, sort freight, and perform trash sortation
- Ensure warehouse safety and accessibility for employees and customers
- Participate in inventory counts and validate load data for timely deliveries
What's Needed?
- Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills and experience with handheld scanners (preferred)
- Availability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
- Experience in warehouse or dock operations in the transportation industry (preferred)
