Description
- Answers, screens, forwards incoming phone calls, takes accurate messages, and directs calls to the appropriate recipients.
- Manages student and staff attendance records and prepares related reports as needed.
- Greets and welcomes guests, students, parents, and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
- Assists with student and staff inquiries, provides general information, and routes inquiries to the appropriate individuals.
- Maintains trusting relationships with suppliers, parents, students, and co‑workers.
- Assists in scheduling meetings, events, and other school activities for the Director and Assistant Director.
- Helps maintain the office calendar.
- Performs data entry and filing tasks.
- Handles all incoming mail, packages, and other deliveries, and distributes them to the appropriate recipients.
- Manages and monitors inventory levels, orders and receives office supplies, and ensures that all office equipment is functioning properly.
- Performs other clerical tasks as needed.
- Supports extracurricular activities and the fulfillment of administrative duties as assigned by the school Director.
- Maintains confidentiality concerning all student and staff information in all professional matters.
Necessary and desirable qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Commitment to the company’s mission, vision, and growth.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Experience communicating with diverse populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continued personal and professional growth.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in the use of technology.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Administrative certification welcomed but not mandatory.
- 1–2 years of experience as a school office administrator/receptionist.
