Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced travel RN for an ICU position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience and a willingness to float to sister campuses.

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent, consecutive ICU experience in a hospital or acute care setting
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Knowledge of medication scanning required
• Valid driver's license (DL) and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Part-time position in a hospital ICU setting
• Night shift schedule: 2x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• Typical patient-to-nurse staffing ratio is 3:1
• Floating to sister campus ICU units (Bucyrus & Galion) may be required if census drops
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• If placed on-call, must be able to return to the facility within 1 hour
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the contract
• All missed shifts must be made up; if your scheduled weekend falls during RTO, you are responsible for finding coverage
• Former permanent employees of this health system must wait at least 6 months before being eligible for this position
