Customer Service Rep, Retail Associate/ Customer Service
Position Summary
What you'll do includes providing member service, maintaining the checkout area, resolving member issues and concerns, promoting Sam’s Club products and services, providing guidance and support with self‑service technology, processing member purchases, handling payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies for different membership and payment types, and following company safety standards and procedures including safety sweeps.
Additional responsibilities include following proper procedures for handling merchandise, reporting unsafe situations, maintaining entrance and exit areas, verifying membership cards, assisting members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise, arranging and organizing merchandise, and ensuring a safe shopping environment.
Further duties involve securing and safeguarding Sam’s Club assets, maintaining paperwork and logs, executing emergency response procedures, and ensuring compliance with security and safety practices.
You will also assist with training new Member Frontline Services associates on company processes, teach new technology and tool functionality, deliver new programs rollout training, and provide continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.
You will comply with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity, use the Open Door Policy, and execute related action plans.
In addition, you will complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners, and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities.
