We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant for a contract-to-hire opportunity with our client in Ontario, OR. This role provides comprehensive administrative and staff support to a large department, helping ensure smooth day-to-day operations and successful project execution.
This position is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and exercises sound judgment while working both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities- Provide a wide range of administrative and staff support services to a large organizational unit
- Coordinate project files, manage information flow, and maintain accurate records
- Schedule meetings, arrange travel, and support meeting planning logistics
- Prepare, format, and distribute reports and presentations (monthly, quarterly, and annual) using Word and Power Point
- Maintain and input data for the Cross Connection Program, including:
- Test reports
- Notices for testing
- Failure-to-test notifications
- Analyze routine situations and apply established procedures to determine appropriate solutions
- Adapt processes and workflows as needed to meet team and project objectives
- Support multiple ongoing assignments, balancing competing priorities effectively
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3–6 years of administrative or clerical experience supporting complex projects or programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Adobe tools
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable navigating internet and intranet systems
- A self-starter who takes initiative and ownership of tasks
- Ability to manage complex, detail-oriented work with accuracy
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
- Desire to grow professionally and take on new challenges
