We currently have a client in Ontario, OR looking for a traveling Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist to help us provide quality patient care during this COVID‑19 crisis. As a member of the Respiratory Team, develop and ensure the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, and other therapists. - Proven experience as Respiratory Therapist.
- Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification.
- Optional: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Evaluate patients and recommend a treatment plan.
- Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
- Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
- Perform timely and accurate documentation.
- Promote continuous quality improvement.
- Teach and counsel patients/families.
