About This PositionThis role is located on the Ortho/Med/Surg unit at our Level IV Trauma Center in Ontario, Oregon. Shifts can be self‑scheduled with a tool provided by the hospital. You will be part of a tight‑knit team that strives to provide excellent care to each patient.
Responsibilities- Provide hands‑on patient care to a variety of patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Advocate for patients’ physical, spiritual, and emotional well‑being.
- Educate patients and families regarding health and recovery.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN preferred).
- Current RN license required.
- Multistate nurses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire (ACLS or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS).
