Our client is seeking a passionate and strategic Executive Director of Allied Health & Nursing to lead a dynamic academic department focused on preparing future healthcare professionals. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for program excellence, faculty development, student success, and community partnerships.

What You’ll Do- Establish and execute a long-term vision for nursing and allied health programs
- Lead department operations aligned with institutional goals and community needs
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing academic environment
- Represent the department with internal leadership, external partners, and accrediting bodies
- Oversee Nursing, CNA, and Allied Health programs to ensure quality and compliance
- Guide curriculum development aligned with state, regional, and national standards
- Maintain accreditation and lead self-study and reporting processes
- Ensure strong student outcomes through program evaluation and continuous improvement
- Hire, mentor, and evaluate full-time and adjunct faculty
- Lead faculty meetings, training, and professional development initiatives
- Support teaching excellence and adherence to academic policies
- Manage faculty workload, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Oversee advising strategies for pre-nursing and current students
- Manage student concerns and ensure a supportive learning environment
- Coordinate licensure documentation and readiness
- Support student retention, progression, and completion
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare organizations and advisory committees
- Develop articulation agreements with other institutions
- Represent programs at local and state levels
- Align academic offerings with workforce needs
- Develop and manage department budget
- Oversee program scheduling and course planning
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and accreditation requirements
- Coordinate program reviews and institutional effectiveness initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Idaho & Oregon or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience
- Experience in nursing leadership, education, or program administration
- Strong understanding of budgeting and academic operations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- PhD in Nursing or Master’s in Nursing with additional leadership experience
- Experience as a nurse educator or academic program leader
- Background in curriculum development and accreditation processes
- Ability to qualify as an approved Nursing Director (OSBN)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Primarily office-based with occasional teaching and clinical instruction
- May require standing, walking, and light-to-moderate lifting in clinical settings
- Occasional travel, evening, or weekend commitments for meetings and events

$100,000 to $111,000 per year annual salary.
