Supply Chain Manager; Director-Level

Position: Supply Chain Manager (Director-Level Opportunity)
A growing aviation MRO organization is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead procurement, inventory management, purchasing, stockroom operations, shipping, and overall supply chain strategy. This position is responsible for developing and executing supply chain initiatives that support operational performance, improve efficiency, optimize inventory, and drive profitability. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience, a strategic mindset, and a deep understanding of aviation, aerospace, MRO, or other complex technical supply chain environments.

Responsibilities:
* Lead and oversee purchasing, inventory, stockroom, shipping, and overall supply chain operations
* Develop and execute supply chain strategies that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support company growth
* Manage supplier relationships, sourcing activities, and contract negotiations
* Develop inventory management and procurement plans aligned with operational goals
* Monitor purchasing compliance, supplier performance, and supply chain effectiveness
* Drive improvements in forecasting, inventory planning, and material availability
* Collaborate with operations, engineering, quality, and customer-facing teams to support business objectives
* Develop and improve supply chain processes, reporting, analytics, and performance metrics
* Lead, develop, and mentor supply chain personnel while promoting a collaborative team environment
* Support strategic growth initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across the organization

Qualifications:

* 5+ years of leadership experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Purchasing, or Materials Management
* Experience with in aviation, defense / aerospace MRO, or similar engine overhaul environments
* Experience managing purchasing, inventory control, stockroom, shipping, or supply chain functions
* Experience leading and developing teams
* Strong understanding of inventory management, forecasting, procurement, and supplier management
* Experience utilizing ERP systems to support supply chain operations
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

* Aviation MRO experience
* Aerospace or defense industry experience
* ERP experience with Quantum
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
