Senior Cost Accountant

Pharmavite is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Accountant to support manufacturing cost analysis and financial performance reporting.

• Prepare and analyze monthly material and manufacturing variances, inventory reserves, inventory movement, cost of sales, and system cost flows.
• Investigate data and reconcile inventory transactions.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and financial performance packages for operations.
• Support quarterly forecasting and annual budget preparation.
• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency in month‑end close processes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and logistics teams to understand and communicate operational cost variances.

• Four‑year college or university degree in Accounting or related business field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in cost accounting, financial modeling and analysis in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory control, and general accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access.
• Experience with JDEdwards, Oracle, or related ERP system.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Self‑starter able to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.

National target base pay range: $80,000.00 – $ (California and New York metro: $88,000 – $146,000). Actual compensation considered based on location, education, experience, and qualifications.
