Registered Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) – Non-Invasive Cardiology – Opelika, Alabama
Direct Hire | Full-Time | First Shift | Monday–Friday
A mission-driven healthcare organization in Opelika, Alabama is hiring a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS/RCS) for a permanent, full-time role within the Non-Invasive Cardiology department. This position supports high-quality, compassionate patient care and provides clinically relevant cardiac imaging to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is included for the selected full-time candidate.
Position Overview

• Non-Invasive Cardiology Department
• Work under Medical and Technical Director supervision
• Provide diagnostic medical sonography services specific to cardiac imaging
• Follow facility policies, procedures, and professional standards

Key Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive echo cardiographic studies
• Deliver clinically relevant cardiac imaging to assist in diagnosis and treatment
• Function as a medical imaging professional within scope of training and education
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during procedures
• Maintain imaging quality and adhere to department protocols
• Accurately document procedures according to facility standards
• Collaborate with cardiologists and interdisciplinary teams
Requirements
• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiac Sonography program
• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) OR RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) – Required
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and echo cardiographic techniques
• Ability to follow professional standards and facility policies
