Job Description Clinical Pharmacist – Inpatient Pharmacy – Opelika, Alabama Direct Hire | Full-Time | First Shift A leading healthcare organization in Opelika, Alabama is hiring a Clinical Pharmacist for a permanent, full-time inpatient role. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative hospital environment focused on high-quality, compassionate care, with strong clinical involvement and a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Key Responsibilities
• Verify medication orders to ensure safe and effective drug therapy
• Assess optimal drug selection, dosage regimen design, and administration
• Provide drug therapy monitoring services
• Facilitate medication reconciliation processes
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
• Lead prevention and reporting efforts for medication errors and adverse drug reactions
• Maintain compliance with USP

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy
• One year of hospital pharmacy experience
• Active and clear Registered Pharmacist license (Alabama)
• Controlled Substance Permit (Alabama State Board of Pharmacy)
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire/transfer
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire/transfer

Preferred Qualifications
• Pharm

D degree
• PGY-1 or PGY-2 Residency completion
• 3–5 years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Board of Pharmacy Specialties certification or other applicable certification
