PERIOPERATIVE RESOURCE MANAGER - PRE SURGERY CLINIC POSITION SUMMARY
The Perioperative Resource Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of supplies, implant management, vendor coordination, and tissue tracking functions within the hospital’s perioperative services department. This role ensures that all operating rooms, procedural areas, and surgical service lines are appropriately resourced to support safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. Reporting directly to the Director of Perioperative Services, the Perioperative Resource Manager partners with service line coordinators, surgeons, sterile processing, materials management, and hospital leadership to optimize inventory control, ensure regulatory compliance, manage vendor relationships, and steward financial resources across the department.
POSITIONQUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in hospital-based perioperative services, healthcare supply chain, or surgical operations. Demonstrated experience with implant management and tissue tracking required. Knowledge of regulatory standards governing surgical services and tissue management required.
