Will provide care as a team with the nurses such as but not limited to:

• Obtaining Blood Glucose readings
• Helping patient with mealtime feedings
• Bathing
• Patient restroom assistance and cleaning
• Ambulation of the patient
• Grooming
• Lifting, turning, and repositioning of patients in beds and chairs
• Blood draws for patient labs
• Collaborating with nurses, MDs, and other patient care specialties
• Emptying and obtaining wound or surgical drain output
• Wound or surgical incision site dressing changes

• High School Diploma or 10 years of relevant experience
• No prior experience is required.
• EAH will provide on the job training: medical terminology class, phlebotomy clinical, BLS class, and 1-on-1 training with an MCT in your department.
• Required Registration/License/Certification: BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire date. EAH will provide.
