CHARGE NURSE - GERI PSYCH EAMC MISSION

POSITION SUMMARYThe Charge Nurse will provide direct patient care as well as supervise staff on the psychiatric unit. They will serve as a resource and a mentor to staff. Promote a culture of safety and identify areas for improvement. This person will have strong communication skills and instill a team approach and EAMC values.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS- Minimum Education
- Associates degree in nursing or equivalent.
- Minimum Experience
- N/A
- Required Registration/License/Certification
- Registered Nursing license.
- BLS and CPI within 90 days of hire.
- Preferred Education
- Bachelors in Nursing or equivalent
- Preferred Experience
- Experience in psychiatry.
- Recent hospital experience preferred.
- Preferred Registration/License/Certification
- N/A
